Thirty-plus years of antiquarian book fairs.

May 12th, 2009

The Ann Arbor Antiquarian Book Fair will return to the Michigan Union on May 17, 2009.

We have updated the list of dealers exhibiting at the 2009 fair! See who is coming to the fair. We’ve included links to dealer websites or email addresses. Dealers welcome your inquiries and questions in the run up to the show — check them out and get a sense of what will be coming to the fair!

Spotlight on the booksellers. We’ve asked a few dealers to say something about themselves. Read more about Lorne Bair Rare Books from Winchester, Virginia, First Folio from Paris, Tennessee, Page Books from Hillsboro, Ohio, Garrett Scott, Bookseller of Ann Arbor, Michigan, or Jett W. Whitehead Rare Books from Bay City, Michigan.

The book fair in the media. Preview the book fair’s public television underwriting spot on Michigan Television. For those who can get their hands on a copy of May’s Ann Arbor Observer you can read a slightly reworked version of Jay Platt’s story of the genesis of the book fair suitable for clipping and hanging on your refrigerator.

Wait, where is that book fair again? Here is a map to the University of Michigan Union on South State Street in Ann Arbor.

When is the book fair? Sunday, May 17, 2009, from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
